The Touhou Project Tōhō Purojekuto?, lit. Eastern Project), also known as Toho Project or Project Shrine Maiden, is a Japanese dōjin game series focused on bullet hell shooters made by the one-man developer Team Shanghai Alice, whose sole member, known as ZUN, is responsible for all the graphics, music, and programming for the most part.[1] The series was inducted into the Guinness World Records in October 2010 for being the "most prolific fan-made shooter series".[2] The Touhou Project began in 1996 with the release of the first game, Highly Responsive to Prayers, developed by the group Amusement Makers for the Japanese NEC PC-9801 series of computers. The next four Touhou games released between August 1997 and December 1998 also were released on the NEC PC-9801. The Touhou Project was inactive for the next three and half years until the first Microsoft Windows Touhou game,

The Embodiment of Scarlet Devil, was released in August 2002 solely by ZUN after he split from Amusement Makers and started Team Shanghai Alice. The Touhou Project became a media franchise spanning a steadily increasing number of official games, in addition to commercial fan books, light novels, and manga.

The biological function of a flower is to effect reproduction, usually by providing a mechanism for the union of sperm with eggs. Flowers may facilitate outcrossing (fusion of sperm and eggs from different individuals in a population) or allow selfing (fusion of sperm and egg from the same flower). Some flowers produce diaspores without fertilization (parthenocarpy). Flowers contain sporangia and are the site where gametophytes develop. Flowers give rise to fruit and seeds. Many flowers have evolved to be attractive to animals, so as to cause them to be vectors for the transfer of pollen.
In addition to facilitating the reproduction of flowering plants, flowers have long been admired and used by humans to beautify their environment, but also as objects of romance, ritual, religion, medicine and as a source of food.
The geranium flower is black in colour – or pelargonium – is a genus of about 200 species which consists of perennial, shrub and succulent plants that grow best in moist, but well-drained soil and direct sunlight. Geraniums – sometimes referred to as storksbills – are known to bloom abundantly in temperate areas around the world. Both members of the geraniaceae family, the true geranium – also called the “hardy geranium” – is often confused with pelargoniums, as they were once considered a part of the same genus. Due to extensive breeding, the geranium flower comes in many shapes and colors – from funnel to star shaped; fuchsia, purple, orange, red, pink and white. These flowers are also thought to fall into six groups: angel, hanging, royal, zonal, unique and shrubby-leaved.

The geranium flower is quite varied in its uses. These flowers have for many years been cultivated for their culinary, household and medicinal uses. Geraniums are frequently used to flavor everything from baked goods to sugar, and – when dried – are known for their calming effect when steeped to create sweet, soothing teas. As a curative, geraniums are known to treat a number of problems. These flowers are thought to have strong antibacterial properties, and are often used as astringents to treat skin conditions – especially when mixed with witch hazel. They are also said to work wonders for stomach ailments, headaches and arthritis. As a household product, the extracted oils are commonly used to repel insects, as an aromatherapy product, or as a skin-conditioning bath ingredient. In legends, the geranium flower is thought to be both an aphrodisiac and talisman for protection. It is thought that spraying yourself with its scent can attract love, while spraying it around your house can protect you from harm.
The geranium flower has a good deal of mixed symbolism associated with it. The geranium is considered a feminine element and is thought to embody health, love, fertility and protection. These flowers are also said to represent friendship, and when presented to a new or old friend, are thought to symbolize preference for that particular individual. On the more negative side, these flowers may also represent folly, foolishness or melancholy. However, despite the few negative connotations, geraniums can make great gifts as they are a fabulous token of harmonious affections.

Belonging to the genus Narcissus, the daffodil flower has at least 50 species in its family, and around 13,000 hybrid varieties. Despite the large amount of variation, all daffodils have a corona (also referred to as a “trumpet”), and a ring of petals surrounding it – often called the perianth. Daffodils are mainly yellow with a contrasting color within the corona; however, there is a plethora of hues that range from yellow and white, to pink, to an unusual lime green-like color. The daffodil flower is mostly native to Western European regions, and thrives best in moist, slightly alkaline soil under full sun or very light shade.
The daffodil flower is the country emblem for Gloucestershire, and the national flower of Wales. In the United States, the Florida Daffodil Society has dedicated themselves to identifying, planting and preserving rare and historical breeds of this flower all around the state and within southern Georgia. The passion for these small, beautiful flowers is not relegated to modern times, however. For a long period these flowers were left to grow wild and were essentially forgotten. In 1629, though, Englishmen recognized their value and began digging them up, and planting them back into their own gardens. Further back, however, daffodils were a part of a less cheerful Greek myth. This story tells of the god Narcissus who was self-centered and uninterested in his devoted nymph, Echo. Later in the story he stopped to watch his reflection in a stream; he then fell in and drowned. In remembrance of him, the gods placed Narcissus flowers upon the riverbank. On a ligh
