The
23-year-old brave girl, who sadly became the victim of gang-rape in
Delhi, died early Saturday morning on 29th of December 2012 at the Mt.
Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore. As the brave-heart succumbed to her
injuries, the entire nation stands in a complete state of shock, mourns
and very much angry.
The girl was airlifted to Singapore for further treatment from Delhi hospital a couple of days before, but her conditioned worsened after reaching there.
With the death of the innocent yet brave-heart girl, celebrities and renowned personalities such as Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Shabana Azmi and others, who had been voicing their concerns regarding a clumsy system that fails to protect women in the country, have shelled out their angst on Twitter.
